| Hello again, Xanga. Boy, it's been awhile since the last time I blogged on this site. Or any site for that matter. I don't know why. I think it's the winter. Now that the weather's perking up a bit, I'm beginning to feel inspired. Been doing a lot of wedding planning over the past few months. Maybe that's why I haven't been blogging. I don't know why everyone thinks that women are the only ones that plan weddings. I've actually found that planning weddings can actually be pretty fun! The planning's going pretty well so far. DJs, cake bakers, lighting people, etc. Basically, it's an exercise in planning a big party. I'm having fun. You can say what you want. Already got engagement pictures from Taiwan...Woohoo! Well, more later. Just got off from a swing shift at the hospital. Need sleep. Gotta head home to pick up the replacement for my broken phone. I've been going through some pretty significant phone withdrawal for the past few days... = ( Dreaming of my helio... | | |
| It's been a long, hard two weeks since I got back from MA. Vendetta was actually pretty entertaining. Something I would watch once but never buy the DVD or anything. And Natalie did look like Sinead...without the falsetto. Hospital's been packed. Lots of sickies. Very emotional at times. I think for a split second, I began to wonder whether I could handle being a hospitalist all my life. Being able to handle the sway in emotions has been a challenge at times. I had this one patient who was the cutest 90 yo who passed away. It's actually kinda weird. I only know a patient for a few days, and I already start to get all caught up in the emotions and stuff. Well, I guess that's why they give us a week or so off after a week like that. I'll be back on service starting Tuesday. Happier times. CV surgery service.
In other news, I've been searching all over for the perfect LCD TV. Somehow I started off only wanting a 26 incher. Now, I have managed to gravitate toward the 37 inchers. Must be that time of month. Testosterone kicking in. I'll have to consult with my sis' fiance about this. Trying... to keep...credit card... in ....wallet...
One more day off. Hmmm... | | |
| I made it to cold Massachussetts today. I'm visiting Yu-Tin. Just had lunch with some of her coworkers. Anyway, might go see Vendetta tonight if it's in the theaters. Wow Natalie Portman, bald. She kinda makes me think of the Sinead days. There's absolutely nothing to do in shrewsbury, so we're planning on hitting Bean Town. | | |

Wow... It's been a while. Busy past month. Lots and lots of patients. Still had some time to hang out these punks for a little. This year's been kind of nice. I've actually had a group I can go out with and party for a little bit. Last weekend, it was Soju with Passion Fruit Green tea and lychee juice and Poker. Aaah. Soju and poker.
As for the wards, not too bad. I managed to get done in a timely fashion this week. Kind of emotional though. I don't know. The tears seemed to flow more freely from me this week. There's this one patient especially that I'll be sad to see go... I hope I'm as happy and satisfied with life as he is when I get to be his age.

| Back in the big house again. Starting work at 4 pm. Easy shift. Just admit patients, that's it. No cross cover.
At least I managed to get out to the golf course with some friends this morning. You know that you're addicted to golf when, on your way to the course, you have to keep your car's windshield wipers on "fast" while it's raining.
Weird thing happened though. Once I got to the course, I realized I didn't have a hat. It's almost impossible to play in the rain without a hat. So I plop down the 15$. Low and behold, I get to the first tee and it stops raining! Dagnabbit. Anyone want to buy a one size fits all Titleist baseball cap?
More later... gotta work.
